HOW IT WORKS

We keep concrete removal straightforward—no surprises, no “demo chaos,” and no leftover mess. Here’s what working with Dig Deep Dirtworks typically looks like from start to finish:

  1. Quick Site Review – photos or on-site visit to confirm thickness, access, and obstacles

  2. Plan the Cut Lines – saw-cutting where needed for clean edges and controlled demo

  3. Break & Remove – equipment-sized for the job (no unnecessary damage to yards/driveways)

  4. Load-Out & Haul-Off – we remove debris and keep the work area organized. Haul off can be arranged on any estimate.

  5. Finish Prep (Optional) – We can grade and prep a solid base for new concrete, gravel, or the next phase of your project.

Want it rebuilt after? We can prep the base and grade for new concrete installation by our concrete contractor (or we can coordinate with one you trust).

WHY DIG DEEP

Concrete removal might look like child’s play—until it’s not. Surprise rebar ambushes, beefy thickened edges, ninja-level tight access, and the ever-looming threat of accidentally redecorating your yard. At Dig Deep Dirtworks, we don’t just wing it; we roll in with a foolproof plan, the ideal equipment arsenal, and a healthy dose of respect for your property (because nobody wants a demolition derby on their driveway).

What you can expect from our crew:

  • Crystal-clear communication from square one — We’ll lay out the game plan, what’s getting shielded from the chaos, and the full scoop on what to expect. No plot twists, just honest-to-goodness transparency before the first crack.

  • The Goldilocks of machines — Big enough to muscle through efficiently, small enough to avoid playing bumper cars with your landscaping, driveway, or nearby surfaces. Efficiency without the “oops” factor.

  • Surgical precision for clean cuts — Partial removals? We saw-cut those edges like a pro barber, keeping things sharp, crack-free, and ensuring the concrete you keep doesn’t decide to join the party uninvited.

  • Jobsite like a well-oiled machine (minus the oil spills) — We keep the area tidy, wrangle debris like cowboys at a roundup, and skip the “scattered mess” encore. Your site stays organized, because who needs a post-demo scavenger hunt?

  • Prep with a purpose, not just “smash and dash” — Planning a concrete comeback? We don’t leave you hanging; our grading and base prep set the stage for a rock-solid sequel, so your next phase starts on steady ground instead of a shaky foundation.

WHAT AFFECTS PRICE

Concrete removal pricing depends on a few key job details. Two driveways can look similar, but the time and disposal can be completely different once we account for thickness, reinforcement, and access.

The biggest factors that affect cost:

  • Total area + thickness — A 4" patio is different than a 6–8" driveway or a thickened edge. More thickness = more labor and heavier haul-off.

  • Rebar / wire mesh / reinforced concrete — Reinforcement increases demo time and can require additional cutting or sorting during load-out.

  • Access to the work area — Tight gates, backyards, slopes, and obstacles can slow down equipment movement and loading.

  • What’s around the concrete — Structures, landscaping, utilities, and existing surfaces we need to protect can require a more controlled removal method.

  • Saw-cutting needs — If you want to keep adjacent concrete or need clean edges, saw-cutting adds time but gives a cleaner result.

  • Haul-off and disposal — Concrete is heavy. Total tonnage, number of loads, and disposal distance are major cost drivers.

  • Finish work after removal (optional) — Grading, base material, compaction, and drainage prep can be added depending on what you’re building next.

Fast quote tip: If you send 2–4 photos and rough dimensions (length x width), we can usually ballpark it quickly—and then confirm on-site if needed.

  • “I needed an old, broken driveway torn out and prepped for a new one, and I’m glad I called Dig Deep Dirtworks. They explained the process in plain English, gave me a fair quote, and didn’t leave a mess behind. The crew worked fast but careful, and they made sure the base was graded and packed right so the concrete crew could pour without issues. The difference in how clean and professional this job was compared to other contractors I’ve used is night and day.”

    Jason M., Homeowner (Willis, TX)

  • “I was honestly nervous starting my mobile home pad because I didn’t know what questions to ask, but Dig Deep Dirtworks made it simple. Marshall walked me through what needed to happen, how they’d build the pad, and what I needed to have ready for delivery day. They leveled everything, handled the soil work, and made sure the pad was firm and set up for good drainage. They treated me with respect and kept me updated the whole way. I’d recommend them to anyone needing a pad built the right way.”
